Real quickly, the name's Chef Alexander. I'll be writing for RavenLoches every now and then writing about game news or happenings. So, let's begin.Alright, so when I brought home the Halo 3 Legendary Edition I was elated! The box it bigger than the box for an Xbox 360, and I can't wait to see the new helmet! From previous news reports, I knew the helmet would be too small to fit a human head...key word being "human."
On the ride home I'm looking forward to seeing how the helmet looks on one of my cats; take a picture, and post it online. Whole time now, I'm thinking the random joy of doing this would actually make it worth the $120 it cost for this edition.
So, I get home, I open the box, and...the helmet could not even fit my hand inside. It has a rectangular opening for it to slide into the holder, and it's small. So small, that even my small cat could not possibly fit inside. Unless I do one of those techniques they use in Asia to fit cats into small jars, but I'm not about to do that to my cat.
I could not believe after all that it would only be used as a helmet if I PhotoShop it, and I can do that with a picture rather than this thing. All in all, I would say this makes the Legendary Edition not worth at all unless you're a die-hard Halo fan looking for a little decor. Otherwise, let those extras you still see in stores just stay on their shelves. It's not worth the money.
Now as for the game itself, it would be a matter of personal opinion whether or not to get the game at all, so my opinion probably won't matter to you. There's Halo fanatics, there are people who want a good FPS, and there are those who think the game is overhyped (like me). So, decide for yourself whether or not you want the game.
