The Last Movie Tickets of 2007 from RavenLoches Entertainment!
Wednesday, December 26, 2007, 10:37 PM
Here we go. The end of another year. Fast one, wasn't it? They all seem to be when they get to the end.

We will be at BORDERS in ALTAMONTE SPRINGS near the corner of 434 and 436, on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with tickets and whatever surprises we can find in the coffins.

Come by say hi and gloat on all the cool stuff you got for the holidays.

Bad news for Joey but a potential winner for some of you. It's been a bear of a year and I am at the point where I am looking to sell items from my personal collection of coolness. The free stuff will still be free, but if you are interested in anything from the Cruz Collection or Original Artwork from the Cruz Line (all aboard) then please let me know. Right now, it's all very informal and I promise that there will be deals for everyone to adore. If you are serious and would like to discuss what's available, let me know and we can arrange something for a soon future date.

Hopefully 2008 will be a great year for everyone and that we can all have fun at the theaters together (legs and back willing).

Thank you all for the tremendous support you've all shown us over the years and when things got tough, you were all there and that's what really matters.

Dan, Kit, Jadyn, Miriam, DeeJay and myself are all very fortunate to have you all as hobby buddies to share what we all love together.

Short notice, as usual, and the phone line is still down but please don't pester Borders with calls, I will be there and we will have fun.

See you all tomorrow.

HAPPY HOLIDAY AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT from Joey
Friday, December 14, 2007, 05:27 PM
Dan and Joey of RavenLoches Entertainment hope this finds you all in a great time of the holiday swing and we hope that all your wishes come true.

My apologies for not updating here but I would like to thank those who have kept up the information in my stead. It's great to have people step up and keep it going. Thank you again.

What I’m writing here today is a feeling out process for an idea I have and I'd like to see if anything will come of it.

As many of you know, it's been a particularly interesting year for me and my family and I wish I could say things are better. All a man can ever dream of is having his family happy. Everything else is secondary.

I have the greatest family that anyone could ever wish for. They've taken care of me through many trying and tiring events and quite often I'm not able to give back other than to try and smile and encourage them on to attain their dreams.

In that vein, the holidays here aren't looking like there will be much under the tree. I'm the last to look for charity and I don’t want it here. An idea dawned upon me. Use the things that have been special to me over the years.

In my personal collections, I have a great many things that will make someone else happy in a new home. Some of them are interesting items that I'm managed to salvage from abandonment and others have been personally acquired due to my collector nature and the interesting people I've met over the last decade.

So along those lines, I'm going to attempt to have Joey Cruz's Personal Collection Sale with somewhat of a garage sale attached to it. There are things that may not be tremendously expensive and need to find a new person to love them. Other things are for someone special who will love them. Still, prolly not too terribly expensive.

I don't know much about selling things online and I actually like the human contact of telling stories of how something came to be. I would like to try Ebay and Craig's List but I dunno how (some media guy I am). Never bought anything from them either so it's a two-way street of ignorance.

If there were to be a face-to-face sale, it would go two ways. Garage sale style for a great many things, and then an auction of the more eclectic stuff.

Dunno if this will be before or after Christmas but I will say that everyone who is here visiting RavenLoches will certainly have the jump on the news and happenings of what is happening.

Like I said, this is just a "feeling out" idea phase since I have neither a place to do it nor an idea on how to get started.

I may try to move large quantities of books to used bookstores straight off rather than try to sell them one-to-one from a table, dunno what to do with my comics (mebbe my Dr. wants them for credit on his bill), I have multi-media and game design college textbooks that I don't know where to sell and the list goes on...

This is certainly not a sympathy ploy, ya’ll know me for being honest. These items have given me much happiness over the years and more but I would like to be able to get my girlies something for Christmas and I think it's a fair trade.

Over the years, I and everyone involved in my ventures - RavenLoches, my radio, law enforcement, entertainment and music fields - have always made it our goal to bring happiness to as many people as possible. This may be my last chance, with the family in one place, to bring some home.

My phone is down, but please email me at ravenloches@aol.com with comments, complaints and ideas. I'm sure the comment and ideas will be looked at and responded to, if possible, complaints will be read, considered and them summarily discarded (o:

I'm sure there will be plenty of questions so I will talk to you soon.

So far, those of you faithful who read this website are the only ones who know (o:

Love and many thanks for all the years of entertainment!

Joey Cruz

NES PC
Wednesday, December 5, 2007, 09:26 PM
Times like these I wish I made much, much, much more money. On eBay up for auction right here we have an amazing PC up for bids that is stuffed inside an NES game deck console. It even comes installed with emulators for NES, SNES, N64, and PS2. It's quite a site to behold, and worth at least a peek.

World of WarCraft as paperweights

If you absolutely love your WoW avatar, and have always wanted to make a trophy of him/her to show off your prowess, here's your chance. Starting December 11th, FigurePrints will take orders for constructing 3D models of your in-game characters for you.

With shipping and handling, it all comes to around $115. If you have logged enough hours in the game, made your character the amazing avatar of your desire, you need to check this out. What's the worse that could happen? Maybe get back into WoW just to make an awesome character in 3D for your display!
